C Gallery in Los Alamos will feature Kady Fleckenstein in its Sing To Me acoustic vocal concert on April 24 at 8 p.m. The show, titled This Is How Love Goes, will trace a relationship’s ebb and flow through opera, blues, and some beloved standards. Fleckenstein draws on covers by Crystal Gale, Eva Cassidy, a bit of Bonnie Raitt, and other power ballads.
After attending NYU’s musical theater program and Virginia Commonwealth University theater program, Fleckenstein went on to assorted community theater roles. Most recently, she performed as Louisa in The Fantasticks for Valley Community Theater. Fleckenstein is executive director of Santa Maria Valley Wine Country, and the owner of kadydid marketing and events company.
The Sing To Me Concerts are limited to 50 seats and offer complimentary champagne at a backyard bonfire intermission. Tickets cost $20. For more information, call 344-3807 or e-mail connie@thecgallery.com.
