The Lompoc Valley Art Association monthly meeting and art program will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 5 at the Alpha Clubhouse, 704 E. Ocean Ave., in Lompoc.
The guest artist will be Karin Leonard who will show examples of indigenous Chumash art, speak about Native American art and culture, and explore differing views of art and its place in life.
