Happy Hollow Preschool is holding its first-ever open house on March 31 and April 1, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., inviting parents and kids to experience the fun activities offered to young students.

The preschool will display art projects and other creative works by current students, and will also have plenty of activities for visiting children to enjoy, such as sensory tubs, learning stations, art and music opportunities, and more.

Though the preschool has been in the community for more than 30 years, it’s a small school with an enrollment of only 48 students. It offers half-day programs three mornings a week for 4- and-5 year olds, and two mornings a week for children younger than 4.

According to preschool director Margo Rodriguez, the preschool highlights a different theme each month. March is ā€œCommunity Helper Month,ā€ and students will be visited by a dentist, a nurse, a Navy officer, a CHP officer, a scientist from Vandenberg who will set off a small rocket, a farmer, and a traffic light repair person.

The preschool is on the campus of St. Andrew United Methodist Church at 3945 S. Bradley Road. Contact director Rodriguez at 937-9177 for more information.
