Coordinated by instructor Marti Fast, ā€œTuesday’s with Martiā€ is an exhibition by watercolor students from Allan Hancock College. The students, under the instruction of Fast, have a range of artistic experiences and skills, from beginner to advanced. Their work expands all matter of media.

For some projects, the students were asked to work in the manner of artists they studied in slides and historical resources, as well as some artists whose work has been displayed in Hancock’s own Foxworthy Gallery.

Ā ā€œEveryone has something valuable to share, and I learn as much from my students as they learn from me,ā€ Fast said in a statement. ā€œThough I never know what wonderful discoveries and energy these artists-in-progress will bring through the door when we meet, the constant we all count on is our mutual regard for one another and the artistic process, to delight and inspire everyone to new levels of creative expression.ā€
