The Central City Big Band is performing a concert of holiday music arranged for the big band jazz orchestra on Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m. The 17-piece ensemble is led by local jazz master Bob Swayze and will feature vocalist Michelle Swanson and leap trumpeter Mitch Latting.
The concert doesn’t require admission, but the group appreciates donations. The show happens at the Unity Chapel of Light, 1165 Stubblefield Road, Orcutt. More information is available at 925-0552 or centralcityswing.org.
