During the week of Feb. 3, Pioneer Valley High School wrestling faced off against elite wrestling rival, Righetti High School at the Warriors’ gym. With the pressure on, Pioneer Valley delivered a 39-32 win over Righetti.
Panther wrestlers Dyriece Tell, Christian Ayala, and Mikey Ruiz all earned big points to take the match. Righetti was down five starters due to injuries.
Pioneer Valley finished the season 14-0 overall, with a perfect record in duals. The Panthers kicked off CIF matches Feb. 8.
