The Santa Barbara County Arts Commission will be host to a dedication and reception on Saturday, Nov. 5, for Allan Hancock College photography and graphics instructor Kam Jacobyās installation, titled āBurton Mesa: A Closer Look.ā
The public is welcome to attend this community event, where, after a brief dedication ceremony at 3 p.m., everyone will be invited to view the six-part photographic installation on the interior walls of the Santa Barbara County Fire and Sheriff Station at 3510 Harris Grade Road in Lompoc.
Jacobyās installation has been coordinated by the County Arts in Public Places Committee, in collaboration with the Santa Barbara County Arts Commission, with funds provided through the countyās Percent for Art Ordinance adopted in 1978.
