Cozying up with music and a coffee and Kahlua. Reading a book with eggnog and brandy. Maybe enjoying hot chocolate and peppermint Schnapps and a little rug-hooking. Such were the ideas behind C Gallery’s latest class. Suzanne Sattler will instruct a cozy workshop on Jan. 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the gallery in Los Alamos.

Sattler shows her vintage fabric art and other creations at Cafe Quackenbush, and has been invited to participate at the Elverhoy Museum’s Queen of Hearts holiday show numerous times. For the C Gallery workshop, she’ll provide all the materials and walk participants through the hooking of a small rug. Participants will go home with something and are responsible for their own lunch—though C Gallery will provide some ā€œcozyā€ refreshment. The class is limited to five people and costs $95. For more information, call the C Gallery at 344-3807 or visit thecgallery.com.
