The public is invited to help make the Lompoc Valley Motorsports Park a reality by attending a barbecue to raise money for the project on Oct. 7.
From 5 to 7 p.m., Bruce’s Prime Cuts will provide tri-tip, chicken, and sodas for $8. There will also be a car show, where attendees are encouraged to bring their hot rods, muscle cars, gassers, and dragsters. Tickets are available at McKenna’s Paralegal, Sunset Auto Center, and Heavy Duty Cycles.
The fundraiser will be held at the old Beattie Motors Dealership at 234 N. H St., in Lompoc.
