The showcase includes a collection of photos taken during Gerber’s multiple trips to Africa.

ā€œI have found myself drawn to travel photography and photo essays since still photography is a powerful way to translate conditions and experiences between different cultures,ā€ Gerber said in a statement.

Proceeds from the exhibit will benefit projects in Africa associated with the African Millennium Foundation and other causes. To find out more about Gerber’s work as a photographer, visit kgerberphoto.com. Santa Maria Ameriprise is located at 2605 S. Miller St., suite 104, Santa Maria.
