The California Central Coast Intergroup of Overeaters Anonymous will celebrate almost 50 years of pursuing its mission of battling binge eating, bulimia, anorexia, and more from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Jan. 17.
Two speakers will share the group’s history and explain the 12 steps to overcoming eating disorders. The event is free and open to anyone, though a $5 donation to benefit the group is suggested. The intergroup supports 13 local Overeaters Anonymous meetings from Lompoc to Atascadero.
