U.S. Rep. Lois Capps has announced that her office is seeking entries for the 2014 annual Congressional Art Competition. The competition offers all high school students in the 24th Congressional District the chance to enter their visual art, which has a chance to hang and show for a year at the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C.

Art pieces must be two-dimensional and no bigger than 28 inches by 28 inches, and no more than 4 inches in depth. Each entry must be original in design, concept, and execution; no violation of U.S. copyright laws allowed.

High school students in the 24th Congressional District must submit a completed work no later than April 18 at 5 p.m. at one of Capps’ offices. More detailed information is available at http://capps.house.gov/serving-you/art-competition or chris.meagher@mail.house.gov.
