The Santa Maria Swim Club is currently accepting registrations for those interested in taking part in their summer swim programs.

If you can swim one length of freestyle, you can join the Aquabears team. Sessions will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, June 22 through August 7 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Registration costs $99 if submitted by June 15 and includes a registration in USA Swimming.

For younger children, the Swim Club offers an Aquacubs course, where ability to swim is not a prerequisite. The first Aquacubs session runs Tuesdays and Thursdays from June 23 to July 9, with the second session from July 14 to July 30. Class times, based on skill level and enrollment, run from 4:30 to 5 p.m., 5 to 5:30 p.m., or 5:30 to 6 p.m. Registration for the Aquacubs classes is $70.

Swimmers interested in either program can sign up Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:45 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Santa Maria Swim Club offices.
