What a heart of stone you have Mr. Castellanos (“Stop using God as an excuse,” Dec. 14). Attacking evangelicals must be what gives you peace. We evangelicals are built on strong family values and morals that God gives through his word. This does not make us perfect, it shows our boundaries, all the while being influenced and forced to do things we don’t want to do by the liberal media and people like you. We speak God’s word and stand on truth that God gives us. Therefore, we believe it and live it out the best we can. This is our faith. We will never be “defeated at the voter’s box,” as you say.
Our faith gives us a purpose in life all the while you and many others attack it. We do believe we are saved through belief and for what Jesus did for us. And this will never change. No one will convince us otherwise.
How can I vote for a liberal agenda and watch a liberal bias news when it goes against what I believe? The worst President Trump is is better than a late-term abortion, pot legalizing, pro-choice, and illegal immigrant supporting liberal every day of the week. Can’t you see that all of the above things mentioned are just money grabs for the government? Government doesn’t care about the consequences to individuals. Just because it’s legal does not make it right. I am not “misguided” as you say. I am at peace with God’s word and at peace in my life. I hear no peace in you. I hear hate, forceful agenda, and finger pointing. You fit right in with Mr. Carbajal and Gov. Brown. You should run for governor. I will be sure to vote against you without hearing you speak again.
