Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Tri-Counties is counting on donations from entrants in the Camarillo Half-Marathon, which will take place April 19.
For each registration in the 10k and 5k runs, $5 will be donated to the organization. The group’s board of directors will be participating and fundraising as Team Make-A-Wish.
The Make-A Wish Foundation of America announced that it’s matching all contributions to the team dollar-for-dollar, up to $50,000. Donations can also be made on the day of the event between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. at the Make-A-Wish table.
