The Circle V Ranch family camp will run Aug. 26 to 28 across from Cachuma Lake in the Santa Ynez Valley. Circle V Ranch Camp Director Ray Lopez announced that cabins and tent spaces are still available for this all-ages camping experience.

Circle V Ranch traditional summer camp sessions are for children ages 7 to 13 and run for six days and five nights including all lodging, meals, activities, and recreation. This summer, the camp has already been host to more than 1,100 children during nine sessions in June, July, and August. This time they wanted to give parents and kids of all ages the chance to experience a three day/two night taste of Circle V fun at Family Camp. Activities include swimming, nature walks, archery, arts and crafts, ping pong, foosball, and sports. To enhance the camp experience there are no TVs, radio, or Internet access. Campers get to stay in air-conditioned log cabins or traditional canvas tents.

Fees for the Circle V Ranch Family Camp include six meals, lodging, and all activities. A private cabin for a family or group is $500; sharing a cabin with others is $100 per adult and $75 for children ages 4 to 15. Children younger than 4 are free. For more information, call 688-5252.
