I attended most of the candidatesā forums and listened carefully to each 3rd District candidate expound upon why he or she should be elected. One thing came through very strongly about your character: Itās my way or no way. You have proven without a shadow of a doubt that you are exactly the kind of person we donāt need in politics. You are not only headstrong, but a poor loser. It doesnāt matter if you lost by one vote, 800, or 8,000. You lost! So get on with it.
During the last election cycle, I registered and/or turned in to the county registrarās office many completed registration forms. And I must say the people in the registrarās office were not only very thorough, but most professional and helpful in reviewing each form. If an error was noted, it was pointed out immediately so it could be corrected. These people know their jobs and do them well. Because of my experience with the staff working there, I doubt very seriously if any fault or improprietary conduct would be found in our ballots. This is Santa Barbara County, not Florida, Chicago, or elsewhere, where evidence of voter fraud has been found.
You have cost the people in Santa Barbara County lots of grief and the loss of personal dollars in defense of your selfish lawsuitādollars that should have been spent on better things. Shame on you! Should you ever decide to run for public office again, I promise, as will others, to work doubly hard to see that you are defeated.
