The Santa Barbara County Farm Bureau Oak Tree Education Program has oak seedlings available free of charge to Santa Barbara County residents. The bureau’s agriculture and horticulture classes at Cabrillo, Lompoc, and Santa Ynez high schools brought at least 4,000 acorns to sprout.
