Train your dog to be loyal and playful through positive reinforcement, praise, and reward techniques at the Lompoc Parks, Recreation, and Urban Forestry Department’s Dog Obedience classes.
Attendees will enjoy the bonding process while teaching their dogs to heel, sit, and stay on command. Students must be at least 14 years old and dogs must be at least four months old. A $5 materials fee is due to the instructor on the first day of class.
The classes take place Wednesday nights from 6 to 7 p.m. March 16 to May 11 at the Lutheran Section of River Park, off Highway 246. Fees are $65 for Lompoc residents and $78 for nonresidents.
