The Sun incorrectly reported a detail in its Aug. 13 cover story on In-Home Supportive Services, titled “Out of service?” Under the state’s new anti-fraud measures, IHSS recipients won’t be required to pay for the costs incurred in the taking of fingerprints. Care providers, however, will need to pay for their own fingerprinting and background checks.
