The PCPA in the Schools project began as a series of writing workshops last winter. A second phase in the spring transformed students’ words into a script for PCPA’s conservatory students. The end result is a full, free performance of the student-written This Is My Story.
Complimentary seating for the 7 p.m. show on April 29 is first come, first served. Doors open at 6:30 pm. According to a press release from PCPA, the show is appropriate for fourth through 12th graders and their parents.
PCPA in the Schools will also return for performances at the sites where the source material originated three years ago: Los Olivos Elementary School in Los Olivos, Fillmore Elementary School in Lompoc, and Arellanes Junior High School in Tanglewood.
