Should people paint their dry, brown lawns green?

Of course, otherwise it's an eyesore.
Why? That sounds like a waste of money.
Water your lawns people! This drought isn't going to last.
In this drought, people should get rid of their lawns altogether.

Get back to serious politics, Santa Maria

Santa Maria

Gussie Bartell

What are Mr. Jack Boysen and Ms. Terri Zuniga afraid of? Mrs. Etta Waterfield spent her time, money, and energy running for a Santa Maria City Council seat—not to mention all those who worked on her behalf during the campaign. She garnered more than 9,000 votes to come within two votes of Mr. Bob Orach. To dismiss this effort displays not only the epitome of arrogance, but complete disregard for the votes of the 9,000-plus Santa Maria citizens who voted for Mrs. Waterfield.

This is playground politics!
