How to punish people for enjoying an event

San Luis Obispo

Dave Smith

Freeway off ramps have breakdown lanes on the right separated by a white line. A disabled vehicle can safely pull into these lanes. During the car show the weekend of June 16, these lanes were used for parking; the alternative being a spot halfway to Nipomo.

I’m hoping the show promoters, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Pismo Beach City Council will call in the chief of police and say to him, “What the hell were you thinking?”
