In March, Allan Hancock College’s rodeo team will host its inaugural collegiate level rodeo at the Elks rodeo grounds. The team formed in 2019, and met some setbacks during the pandemic, including needing a coach and a permanent practice space. Now practicing at the Elks, the team is raring to go with 12 students and a full-time coach. Staff Writer Taylor O’Connor speaks with the coach and student athletes this week [6].
