Time is best measured in love, according to the opening number in Rent. Between Feb. 20 and 26, Mi Amore Pizza and Pasta and several other eateries in the Lompoc Valley are hoping for residents to show their love for local dining, by taking advantage of this year’s citywide Lompoc Restaurant Week offerings.

Participating restaurants, wineries, coffee shops, and more are offering prix fixe meals, tastings, flights, and other deals for $20.23 each throughout the seven-day program. Here’s a summary of just a handful of offerings announced by local venues so far (check lompoc.com for the latest updates on Restaurant Week and its full list of participants).

Stay caffeinated
Two hot spots for coffee and tea in Lompoc are offering Restaurant Week deals to help patrons get rid of morning brain fog. Or hop in a bit later for some delicious brunch entrees. South Side Coffee Co. will offer three different options for guests to choose from that share the Restaurant Week-designated $20.23 price: an iced latte flight with two bagels and cream cheese; two 16 oz. drinks and a flatbread; or two lunch combos.
Guests at One Room Escapes and Coffee during Restaurant Week will have the opportunity to order an ensemble meal designed for two, which includes one double pot of tea, two California Benedict tea toasts, two Monte Cristo tea bites, a petite fruit salad, and two petite scones with jam and cream.

Pies in the sky
Eye on I is asking patrons to put their trust blind date-style in a three-course meal of the restaurant’s choosing, with the $20.23 “Trust Us” deal. The only hint guests are given about the mystery combination before ordering is that “it’s something to do with pizza.”
A handful of other pizza joints throughout Lompoc are participating in Restaurant Week as well, including Wild West Pizza and Grill and the aforementioned Mi Amore Pizza and Pasta.
One of Valle Eatery and Bar’s $20.23 offerings is a specialty pizza, with five choices for patrons to choose from (mushroom and pesto, pepperoni and olives, Margherita, sausage and jalapeño, or Asian pear and prosciutto). Each pizza comes with an order of churros, which also go with the venue’s $20.23 sandwich and taco combo offerings.

Raise a glass, or two, or four
Wine and beer offerings from Lompoc Restaurant Week’s participating venues are not in short supply. For its $20.23 deal, COLD Coast Brewing Company will be serving two flights, followed by two pints of various libations for guests to choose from.
The Transcendence Tasting Room in Lompoc will be offering two glasses of wine, unspecified, for $20.23, while the PCH Street Wine Lounge will offer four glasses of chardonnay, for the same price.
The 2017 La Rinconada pinot is the featured wine of Sanford Winery and Vineyards’ $20.23 two-for-one tasting deal (reservations in advance are strongly recommended by the vintner). Fiddlehead Cellars will also be offering tasting options of a few different pinot noir selections for $20.23 per pour.
Say cheese

During Lompoc Restaurant Week, Capulin Eats and Provisions will be dishing out its gringo grilled cheese breakfast sandwiches—priced at two for $20.23. Patrons have the option of ham or bacon with each grilled cheese. The venue will also be offering a lunch deal for $20.23, that comes with two chili verde tacos.
For Old Town Kitchen and Bar’s $20.23 lunch special, guests can look forward to a serving of split mac and cheese with four sauces to choose from (classic cheddar, Alfredo sauce, basil cream, or sun-dried tomato cream), plus two toppings to pick as well. The topping options are crumbled bacon, sautéed peppers, caramelized onions, crispy chicken bites, and tri-tip. As if all that didn’t sound mouthwatering enough, the combo also comes with a dessert to melt for: molten chocolate cake.
