Swim laps in Lompoc

BY JEREMY THOMAS

If you love water and are looking for a relaxing and strengthening way to work out, the Lompoc Aquatic Center has lap swims available for a small fee.

Enjoy the center’s indoor recreation and competition pools and relax after a stressful day at work. The program is geared toward adults; youth participation is allowed, but younger swimmers may be asked to take a standard swim test.

Prices are $4 for ages 14 and up, and $2.50 for people 60 and older. Monthly lap swim passes are also available at $35 for swimmers 14 and older, and $30 month for people older than 60. Three-month passes cost $85 for adults older than 14 and $75 for seniors.

The Lompoc Aquatic Center is located at 207 W. College Ave. Passes are available at the Anderson Recreation Center, 125 W. Walnut Ave.

For lap swim times or to find out more, call the Aquatic Center at 875-8100.
