Vendetta Pro Wrestling makes a sizzling debut

BY JEREMY THOMAS

Independent wrestling slams into Santa Maria with Vendetta Pro Wrestling’s debut show, Summer Sizzle, at Edwards Community Center, 809 Panther Drive, on July 11.

The main event of the night features former World Wrestling Entertainment star U-Gene taking on former Playgirl model and Chippendale dancer “Sexy” Sean Casey.

In the other featured match, former WWE star Gangrel—also known as “The Vampire Warrior”—will face off against “Wrestling Personified” Rik Luxury.

Matt Burch, star of TRU TV’s Operation Repo and the commissioner of Vendetta, will also make an appearance. The card is filled out with a six-man tag team competition and an all-female contest between “Vendetta’s Vixens,” Christina Von Eerie and Ellen Degenerate.

Promoter Billy Blade, who runs a wrestling school in Santa Maria and has put together shows all over the Central Coast, said the new league is focused on featuring worldwide talent. He’s already booked local Vendetta Pro shows for September and November.

Advance tickets for Summer Sizzle cost $10 for general admission, $15 for ringside, and $20 for front row. Doors open at 6 p.m. and matches start at 7 p.m.

A portion of all proceeds from the event will go to benefit the Police Activities League.
