Give to the Saints

BY KRISTINA SEWELL

The Santa Maria Saints will hold a fundraising golf tournament at Marshallia Ranch Golf Course on Aug. 24. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the boys’ and girls’ golf teams of Santa Maria.

The tournament will feature a four-man scramble and prizes for longest drive and straight drive; there will also be men’s, women’s, and co-ed divisions.

Cost is $100 per person; payment includes cart, greens fees, a tri-tip lunch, raffle entry, team prizes, and a goodie bag. Organizers are also accepting corporate sponsorships.

To make a donation or for more information, contact Jay Cheney at 878-2296 or Joe Graack at 868-8148.
