The Remnants

Cajun Love: Listen!
Music Genre: Rock
Located: Santa Maria
Upcoming Performances:
Lompoc Spring Arts Festival, April 23rd, 2011 from 4:30 to 7:30. Santa Maria Strawberry Festival, April 30th, 2011 at 5PM. We have the traditional weekend gigs mostly in Lompoc's Night Clubs.
The Remnants consist of two major players, Ron Yapo and Mike Davison. The two guitar players met back in 1981 in Santa Maria, CA. These two players continued with other local bands through the years. In 2006, Ron and Mike's fortunes were found with bass player Patrick Miller, total madman on four fat strings with much more musical experience than expected. Patrick is a retired postal worker and the best and youngest looking member of the band. Drumming is Don Pommerville, virtually a pounding machine without losing a beat. Don is a local businessman that owns and operates Pommerville's Automotive & Gas in Lompoc, CA. Within a year the band has become unison of one turning the sprocket that can deliver true live music. But mainly the group has found a way to be a family. Yep, they have their ups and downs, but they manage to keep it together. It's about having fun. They have fun making the music and at the same time, the crowd is rejuvenated with memories and entertainment. We are out preaching Rock n Roll the way it is suppose to be, raw and powerful. We are the storytellers, we are The Remnants.
