How should the county treat dogs it has charged with being dangerous?

It depends on what the dogs are charged with doing.
They should be put to sleep, no matter what they did.
The county should have a no kill policy.
It's the owners fault if a dog does something the county deems as dangerous. The owner should be punished.

You'd need help from (good luck) Congress

Samuel Quintana

Santa Ynez

I read your article, “The great pill debate” (May 9), with great interest. It’s a timely issue that hits all the right notes, but to actually expect these pharmaceutical manufacturers to contribute to help remove their own trash from society is a bit naïve, don’t you think?

For any large corporation (as well as the Military Industrial Complex) to move in any worthwhile direction, one needs the help of Congress. And these folks all act as if they no longer have to service the public due to their unionized constituents that have grown to believe that they are the only members of society that deserve “service and protection” from law enforcement, courts, and administration of justice working groups bureaucrats pigging out on the public trust.

LOL, and good writing.
