Central Coast Competitive Cheer

By Kasey Bubnash

The Central Coast Competitive Cheer team may be new to the game, but its members are ready to be aggressive, B-E aggressive.

Competitive Cheering

Experienced coaches Kira Farrell and Candace Robertson-Farrell cheered at Cal Poly and Robertson studied dance at Allan Hancock College–have their sights set on a national championship. But Farrell and Robertson said the cheer team, also known as C4, is really all about personal improvement.

"We started C4 so that our athletes can have a fun, safe, and competitive way to improve their skills," Robertson said in a press release.

C4 currently has 14 members and its first ever practices are set to start at the end of July. A few additional spots are still open for boys or girls, ages 7 to 14. For more information, go to C4centralcoast.com or emailcheercentralcoast@gmail.com.
