Trade show to feature Hollywood actors, set piece
BY JOE PAYNE
The Time Travel Trade Show is coming to town thanks to the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce, which hosts the annual trade show. This year’s event is June 20 from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
What makes the Time Travel Trade Show so outstanding is the fact that, in the spirit of the time travel theme, actors and the ubiquitous set piece from Back to the Future will be present at the show. The DeLorean car from the films will be joined by actress Claudia Wells—who played Jennifer Parker, Marty McFly’s girlfriend—and Donald Fullilove, the actor who portrayed mayor Goldie Wilson in the films.
The event will also include a raffle to win an iPad. Admission is $2, or free with a business card, at the Santa Maria Fairpark, 937 S. Thornburg St., Santa Maria. More information is available at 925-2403, Ext. 816 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
