Talented apply hereThe Rotary Club is holding open auditions for Santa Maria Has Talent 2013. The show is open to all area soloists, ensembles, groups, singers, dancers, actors, acrobats, and instrumentalists. Unfortunately, bands cannot be accommodated in the talent show. Auditions are on Feb. 23 at 11 a.m. and Feb. 24 at 2:30 p.m. at the Orcutt Presbyterian Church, 993 Patterson Road, in Orcutt. There is no charge to audition for the talent show, which will happen April 11 through 13 at the Santa Maria Veterans Hall. The special fundraising event includes a $1,000 first prize award to the top talent entry provided by the Coast Hills Federal Credit Union. There is also a $500 prize to the “Santa Maria Favorite,” who is decided by audience donations. More information is available at 348-1968 or santamariarotarysouth.org. |
