Flexible formThe Santa Maria Public Library will be host to another art exhibit in its Shepard Hall Gallery. “Form and Flexibility” by Marilyn Hoback Cronk shows throughout November. Cronk, a mostly self-taught artist, has been involved with many local exhibitions and art galleries. Many of her paintings show a study in the shapes and forms of horses and Spanish architectural forms, with inspiration drawn from local missions. She’s also a pet portrait artist, having drawn many commissioned portraits for people all over the Western United States. Portions of her fees are also donated to animal shelters and rescue services. The Shepard Hall Gallery is at the Santa Maria Public Library at 421 S. McClelland St., Santa Maria. More info: 925-0951, Ext. 832; swiles@ci.santa-maria.ca.us; or ci.santa-maria.ca.us. |
