Discover what horses do for humans

Kimberly Lorance has been selected as Artist of the Month at the Guild Room in Gallery Los Olivos, 2920 Grand Ave., in Los Olivos. Her work will be on display from Nov. 7 through Dec. 5.

The exhibit will feature her work, titled “What Horses Do for People.” She aims to express her reverence for equine companions and credit their gifts to humans through her series of paintings. She wants to capture the desire of the horse to care for humans and the experience of life being enlarged by a relationship with a horse.

Lovers of art and horses are invited to visit the gallery to enjoy the special show. In addition to this focused special exhibit, the Guild Room also features the diverse work of members of the Artists Guild of the Santa Ynez Valley. Work by more than 45 Gallery Los Olivos member artists is also on view at this location.
