Hamilton to display work at Grossman

Local photographer Robert Hamilton’s work will be on display at Grossman Gallery throughout July.

The Lompoc Library’s Art Advisory Committee picked local amateur photographer Robert Hamilton to display his work during the month at the gallery at 501 E. North Ave., in Lompoc.

The exhibition is titled “The Journey is the Reward,” and outlines the journey for Hamilton and his wife Pamela, who have been traveling for the last 25 years. Their path has wound primarily throughout Europe and North America, and his work reflects the passion his wife and he have for food, wine, and travel.

Hamilton is a member of the Lompoc Photographers Guild and has had his work shown in the Cypress Gallery, South Side Coffee, and last year in the Grossman Gallery. Most recently, his work was featured in the Fiddlehead Winery barrel room in the Lompoc Wine Ghetto. His three-day exhibition was the second in a series of four exhibitions Fiddlehead hosts to benefit the local nonprofit Arts Outreach.
