Clay artist meets art association
The Lompoc Valley Art Association will hold its monthly meeting and art program at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 7 at the Alpha Clubhouse, 704 E. Ocean Ave., in Lompoc. The guest artist will be Ramona Clayton, a microbiologist who works in clay. She’s studied under master potter Gisela Simon and now specializes in functional pieces like stoneware and porcelain.
