Ann Foxworthy Gallery holds mixer event with the Santa Maria Arts Council

The Santa Maria Arts Council will host its Community Arts Mixer at the Ann Foxworthy Gallery in Santa Maria on Friday, Dec. 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. Local artists, art teachers, art students, and supporters of the arts are encouraged to attend the event, which will include entertainment, light refreshments, and free parking for guests.

Since 1972, the Santa Maria Arts Council has granted a total of more than $300,000 to 400 performing artists, visual artists, and local arts nonprofits. To find out more about the Santa Maria Arts Council and the upcoming Community Arts Mixer, email santamariaartscouncil@gmail.com

The Ann Foxworthy Gallery is located on Allan Hancock College’s Santa Maria campus, at 800 S. College Drive, Santa Maria.

Guests of the mixer event can look forward to viewing the gallery’s current showcase of artworks by Rafael Perea de la Cabada (pictured), whose solo exhibition will remain on display through Thursday, Dec. 15.
