Santa Maria Library screens original 'Ocean's Eleven'

The Santa Maria Public Library hosts a free screening of Ocean’s Eleven (1960) on Monday, Aug. 12, at 3 p.m. The film follows Danny Ocean (played by Frank Sinatra) as he gathers a group of his WWII compatriots to pull off an elaborate heist in Las Vegas. Together, the 11 collaborators plan to rob five casinos during the course of one night.

Although no tickets are required, seating is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Freshly popped popcorn will also be served to guests free of charge. The library is located at 421 S. McClelland St., Santa Maria. Call (805) 925-0994, Ext. 8562, for more info.
