CORE Winery hosts annual art show for VTC artists

Artists from the Vocational Training Center (VTC) in Santa Maria will participate in an art show at CORE Winery, with a reception set to take place June 30.

The event features artists sharing their work from the past year, as well as wine from CORE and appetizers for attendees. Artists' works have been completed during their participation in classes conducted by VTC. Last year, VTC artists displayed their work at the Betteravia Government Center in Santa Maria as well as the Valley Arts Center in Orcutt.

The event, sponsored by the Ian M. Hassett Foundation and hosted by CORE owners, Dave and Becky Corey, takes place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.; admission is free. CORE is located at 105 W. Clark Ave., Orcutt. More info: (805) 878-1334.
