The Lompoc Public Library offers a new book club, The Literary Tea and Talk, February through May. The community is invited to attend the free program, which is scheduled for the third Tuesday of every month. Tea will be provided for participants to enjoy during the book discussions.

The first discussion group will meet to talk about Station Eleven, by Emily St. John Mandel, on Feb. 21. The group meets at 6 p.m. in the Lompoc Library’s Grossman Gallery.The Cuckoo’s Calling by Robert Galbraith is discussed on March 21, followed by The Circle by Dave Eggers on Apr. 18, and The Light Between Oceans by M. L. Steadman on May 16. 

Participants are advised to plan ahead by reserving book copies for future meetings. Print, audio, and large print copies of each title are available through the library catalog at blackgold.org. Digital copies can be found through the library’s OverDrive collection at blackgold.overdrive.com.
