The Lompoc Mural Society is holding a call for artists in anticipation of its 2015 mural, slated for placement in the downtown area’s Art Alley. Interested artists are required to submit a concept sketch to be considered by the Lompoc Mural Society’s Artistic Criteria Committee by March 15. Submission should also include a résumé and photo samples of previous work.
The particular mural will be in an 8-foot-by-20-foot horizontal format on five 4-foot-by-8-foot DiBond panels. The artist will be responsible for picking up the panels and will need to agree to any touch-ups once the panels are hung. An initial payment of $1,000 will be given upon approval, with a total payment of $5,000.
