Los Padres Artist Guild to hold Robert Burridge demonstration

The Los Padres Artist Guild is holding a meeting at the Luis Oasis Senior Center in Orcutt on Aug. 8 at 5:30 p.m. that will include a special artistic program with guest artist Robert Burridge. The Los Padres Artist Guild will conduct its regular business from 5:30 to 6 p.m., after which Burridge will begin his demonstration.

He will be offering a hands-on demonstration of techniques, basic formulas, compositions, and color techniques used when creating his abstract paintings. Handouts will be provided along with the demonstration using acrylic and watercolor paints.

The event is free to the public. The Luis Oasis Senior Center is located at 420 Soares Ave., Orcutt. More information is available at 459-1503.
