A call to creators

The Santa Maria Public Library recently put out a call to artists from Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties to submit their work for Art at the Library, which features monthly exhibitions in the library’s Shepard Hall. There are no fees for artists to apply, and the work must fit in the Shepard Hall Gallery space.

Local artists interested in applying can download the application at cityofsantamaria.org. The completed application and accompanying materials must be mailed no later than Aug. 16 to Sara Voss at the Santa Maria Public Library, 421 S. McClelland St., Santa Maria.
