Lompoc Valley Art Association holds meeting

The Lompoc Valley Art Association’s general meeting is scheduled for May 6 at 6:30 p.m. at the Stone Pine Hall, 200 South H St., Lompoc. Members will be able to vote at the meeting in regards to changing the hours of the Cypress Gallery.

The Lompoc Valley Art Association has also announced its spring show winners. Best of Show was awarded to Jerome Parker for his piece Twilight Dancer. Vicki Andersen won first place in the acrylic category, Betsee Talavera won second, and Alan Freeman won third. Parker also won first place in the oil category. In the photography category, Christopher L. T. Brown won first place, Karen Carson won second place, and Debby Fuller won third. In the digital art category, Eric Bartnik won first place, Iris Timmerman won second place, and Jim McIntire won third place. Parker also won first place in the graphics category. In the three-dimensional category, Diane Atturio won first place, Kathy Badrak won second place, and George Thompson won third. In the aquamedia category Sylvia Kokatnur won first place, Rosalea Greenwood won second, and Bill Richardson won third. Bill Richardson won first place in the mixed media category.
