BY JOE PAYNE

The Santa Maria Valley Discovery Museum invites the community to come celebrate the fourth annual Nat Fast Day on Jan. 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

As of press time, the schedule of events included sculpting with Laura Moll and watercolor paintings with the Orcutt Children’s Art Foundation from 10 a.m. to noon. The Central Coast Swing Dance will shuffle across the dance floor at noon, followed by Righetti High School Ballet Folklorico at 12:30 p.m. The Academy High School Glee Club will perform live at 1:15 p.m., followed by live music by Birdie from 2 to 4 p.m.

More artists and activities are to be added to the day’s events. Also, two Nat Fast giclée prints will be raffled off to benefit of the museum, located at 705 S. McClelland St., Santa Maria. More information is available at 928-8414, chris@smvdiscoverymuseum.org, or smvdiscoverymuseum.org.
