Santa Maria Phil goes baroque

The Santa Maria Philharmonic Society is preparing for its upcoming concert, “The Beauty of the Baroque,” scheduled for Nov. 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, 311 S. Broadway, in Santa Maria.
The program will feature selections from Antonio Vivaldi’s famous violin concerto The Seasons, Johann Sebastian Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 4, and Gustav Holst’s St. Paul’s Suite.
The cost for the show is $30, $25 for seniors and active military, and $12 for students. More information is available at 925-0412 or santamariaphilharmonic.org.
