Santa Ynez Valley Arts hosts 27th Annual Quick Draw and Arts Festival

Santa Ynez Valley Arts is again playing host to the popular annual Quick Draw and Arts Festival, now in its 27th year. The event is a long-standing free event that showcases the talent of several skilled artists who must all complete an art piece within one hour.

The event begins at 10 a.m. on Aug. 17 with an introduction and then the quick draw. At 12:30 p.m., the works will be the subject of a live auction conducted by Jim Glines.

In addition to the Quick Draw, the event also includes an ArtWalk, featuring more than 40 artists and artisans selling handmade items, a silent auction, and hands-on art demonstrations.
