The Santa Ynez Valley Master Chorale, Youth Chorale, and Orchestra, and the St. Mary’s Choir welcome local singers to join the throng and lend their voices to the choir. The performance ensembles are preparing for the upcoming holiday season and next year’s concert season.
The St. Mary’s Choir performs regularly as part of the St. Mary’s worship service on Sundays at 10 a.m. with a rehearsal call at 9:15 a.m. A special rehearsal for the Sunday program is Aug. 15 at 7 p.m. Regular rehearsals for the St. Mary’s Choir are on Thursdays at 7 p.m. starting on Sept. 5 at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, Santa Ynez.
The Santa Ynez Valley Master Chorale and Orchestra will be meeting for rehearsal for the upcoming holiday season on Sept. 10 at 7:30 p.m. The chorale welcomes singers high school ages and older to audition before the rehearsal at 7:15 p.m.
The Santa Ynez Valley Youth Chorale is for singers in grades 6 through 9. The first rehearsal for the Youth Chorale happens in October.
